HEY! I’M ERICA…
I live in a small, beautiful community in Sonoma County, California, a place I’ve called home for nearly 30 years. Surrounded by vineyards, local hiking trails, and a close circle of friends, it’s one of my favorite places in the world.
I lived in Lake Tahoe and eventually made the move to Sonoma for a relationship. Life has changed over the years, and these days it’s just me in
the house. I genuinely love the life I’ve built here, enjoying simple things like walking the neighborhood, exploring nearby trails, enjoying lunches out with friends, and appreciating the slower rhythm of a tight-knit community.
Still, despite loving where I live, there came a point when I started wondering what the next chapter of my life might look like.
I’ve always been someone who enjoys creating, building, and working with my hands, but I began to feel the pull toward something new. Something that could bring both freedom and a fresh possibility into my life.
Growth begins the moment you open yourself to new possibilities.
A CAREER BUILT ON ADVENTURE AND CREATIVITY:
My work life has been anything but traditional. I started out cooking in busy restaurants (something I still love to this day). Over the years, kitchens seemed to find me wherever I went. Cooking has always been one of my favorite creative outlets.
From there, life took me in many directions. I worked as a manager at a ski resort in Lake Tahoe, spent time commercial fishing in Alaska on an all-women fishing boat, and eventually found my niche in carpentry, remodeling, and flipping homes.
That hands-on work suited me perfectly. I’ve always been a very visual, three-dimensional thinker - someone who loves taking something old, rebuilding it, and making it beautiful again.
For many years, being self-employed gave me the independence I valued most.
But over time, injuries and surgeries made the physical work harder to sustain.
WHEN ONE CHAPTER CLOSES: After stepping away from construction work, I tried real estate. But the style of sales never felt right for me.
Not long after, life took another unexpected turn when a close family member was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I stepped into the role of caregiver, which became the focus of my life for several years. It was meaningful but also demanding.
When that chapter came to an end, I found myself at a crossroads - entering a new phase of life and wondering what the next chapter might hold.
What I knew for certain was this: the idea of going back to a traditional job and clocking in somewhere every day didn’t feel aligned with who I was.
I had spent much of my life working for myself, creating my own path. That independence mattered to me.
And I wasn’t ready to give it up.

FINDING SOMETHING THAT FELT RIGHT: After exploring different options and feeling increasingly frustrated, I decided to stop searching for a while. Around Thanksgiving, I made a conscious choice to let things settle and trust that the right path would appear at the right time.
Not long after, I came across an online ad that caught my attention. I watched the presentation and listened to the stories, and something about it immediately resonated with where I was in life.
Today, I’m building a business in partnership with a global Personal Development company, one that aligns with my independence, my curiosity for growth, and my desire to create a life with more freedom and possibility.
